About the Striker Soccer Challenge

The Striker Soccer Challenge is the property of the Long Island Sports Complex located in Freeport NY, just off the Meadowbrook Parkway. All games are played on a beautiful indoor turf surface. All games are refereed by certified referees and all game rules for the league is approved by the head of the referee committee.

Last season, the winter season saw over 100 boys and girls teams participate. Games are 50 minutes in length, and all games are played with offsides, throw-ins, and corner kicks. Our facility is heated and air conditioned, and offers ample seating for you to bring your soccer chair to sit on the sidelines (just like outdoors) or you can sit on one of our benches. Games are played primarily on Saturday’s, and Sunday’s, but some teams might play on an occasional Friday or Monday (when school is closed). The Striker Soccer Challenge is now entering its 4th season and is considered the best run indoor winter soccer event on Long Island.
